but the content of the page just gets loaded in the “component” area below on the frontpage.
I am pretty sure that it did not do this all the time. How do I make sure, that once you click on a article title you will actually get to see the whole article?

Eg. try cliking on “Vind en Smart LotusGrill!”

In order to see the whole article when clicking on the article title, 2 steps below would help:

    – Assign that article(s) to a menu item (Category Blog type)
    – Go to Template Manager >> JA_Magz_Default and assign this template style to above menu item

Hi Leo. So I need a menuitem for the article?

Was hoping I could just have a news page where the articles are listed, without having to assign a menuitem to it.

Yes, you need an existing menu item and assign it with the Category Blog type.

If you don’t want to assign that article to an existing menu item in current main menu (that shows in frontend), you can create a new menu, for example ‘hiddenmenu‘. After that, create a menu item for this menu, then assign article (or category that article belongs to) to this new menu item.

That is the only way to open Joomla articles on a new page.
