when i remove the newsflash component i get an error ” Error loading component”

how can i fix this?

do You delete folder module mod_newflash ?
I think that you must uninstall newflash module in administrator .

but why? i just don’t want to show it on some pages and this is also a problem.

Hi alphaquest !
If you don’t want to show it on some pages. I don’t uninstall it . You login to admintrator , select module
then on page select you select page for display !
What is newsflash component ?
i don’t understand this text .
