when i try to share an article on Facebook the photo of the article is not the main photo of the article

I’ve the same problem for Google+

Why?

Facebook Uses Open graph tag to pick right images .
You need to add OG tag for this . You can check your site page on facebook debug tool hre

Yes i’ve seen another post about it but this Is the first time that i have this problem with a joomlart template… Only with Teline V

How can i add OG tag? I have seen a lot of estensions but when i have tried to install one of these there were the same problem

Hello always used OG tag to pick thumbnails .
You can find third party open Graph extension On JED HERE

I know your link but i don’t know to resolve it
I have the same problem if i have installed one of that extension

If in Teline there is a “share this” button why i need to install a third part extension to function correctly?

Teline V will have it in its self, some kind of solution….

I suggest you to use Open Graph meta tags not sharing extensions .
You can the open Graph extension on Joomla Extension Directory .
Here is tip to add OG tag manually .

What Brusamolino is trying to say is, that even he has OG installed (any extension), it does not work every time.

I my self have the Phoca Open Graph installed, and that is the best one for Teline V I have found so far.
But if I will share an article I allways have to try it at least 3 times before it load any image, and offen it is not the correct one.

I am having the same issue. I have og installed and working correctly but images won’t load. for my case the title as well as image of the article is incorrect for Google +. And facebook won’t detect the image.

Can u share your working site ulr , so i can check the open Graph tags on your site ,
if OG tag correctly installed on page FB should pick the correct thumbnail.
