I’ve upgraded to the latest JomSocial release, ver 2.4.0. Now my feed in JomSocial is all messed up. I contaced JomSocial about it, and here is their response:

My activity stream at http://dce.shortcutsolutions.net is not showing the way the Joomlart Ja_Social template demo shows . Is this the same issue?

From a quick look at the demo and compared to my website , it looks like there is a class missing somewhere in the template. The class I see mssing from your template is “‘joms-newsfeed-item’ . If I manually edit the code live, the stream is much more correct as per attached image.

my site is joomla 1.7

Blaine – why is this marked solved?? Can we please get some answers? Unless there is a new template out, this most definitely IS NOT solved. I should also point out that new threads HAVE been started, and people are getting the run around there as well. ie. http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/jomsocial-template-is-not-fully-compatible-with-the-new-jomsocial-version-2-4-0/

The last word I heard they were waiting for J! 2.5 release, which was just released on Tuesday, so potentially another month from that date. Until than I have Franken-site running live…:p Probably good to wait for compatible Kunena(Current version 1.7.1 is not, but sozzle says 1.7.2 will be)…K2 is 2.5 ready, JomSocial 2.4 is J! 1.5 – 2.5 compatible
