Joomla 1.6 have its own updaet manager. Recenlt we have updated JA Social for Joomla 1.6 and 10 days later Joomla 1.7 will be available, possibly via update aswell. My question is should we safely proceed that update via Joomla’s its own update manager?

Hi icbl,

The joomla 1.7 has not been released yet so it is hard to give you an advise at this moment,Kindly follow up the joomla blog site to get advises from joomla team on upgrading from 1.6 to 1.7 version.
we also will have a announcement if we have any plans on this.

When the stable version of J1.7 is released JA will make announcements on the release schedule of the templates.
