I see from the changelog roadmap that v1.4.2 was in progress back in April. We are 3 months on so when can we expect a release?

I am interested to explore the change on how MegaMenu is used in 1.4.2

Hi,

I got the impression from the roadmap that megamenu would be an option for the main menu as an alternative for the drop menu.

Yes, it is in version 1.4.1
But quickstart package has a bug in JA Menu Parameters plugin, as far as I can see. When deleting this plugin from database and reinstalling it via admin panel, the extra parameter options for configuring a menu item will be shown too.
But when you open template manager -> this template, you will see the extra menu type option MegaMenu.
