Click on the mainmenu tab “Visitors”. you will get the page using the JAC module which is showing my category “Visitors”. Click on the heading “Things To Do” and you will see the second image I’ve attached. There are expired, unpublished articles showing on the page. Where do I control how this blog appears? Short of deleting these articles, I don’t know how to stop them from displaying. I’ve been through all the settings I could find and just don’t see it.

Checked into code but not sure any behind reason to show these articles.

Where do I send the ftp access to you? I’ve taken the site online and looked at it, same results, but I may still be logged into the site as a super admin. I’ll check this after I hear from you where to send ftp info.

# By logic i agree with you expired articles should not show up on page. But checked into layout file even with Joomla! core it’s stil displayed as well just only adding Expired label.

To avoid this you can apply override template with condition to exclude it.

I do not know how to apply such overrides as you mention. Plus, I’ve never had this as an issue except on this template.

Also, I just checked the page on “Things to Do” and the offending articles were no longer there when I was not logged in at the site’s frontpage. Please recheck. I added a Login/Out menu item under the top right “Chamber” menu list.

I have just about all my questions answered now. There is one more issue, but I’ll open another ticket for that. It has to do with the ordering of the articles. I need to write down my steps so the problem can be recreated. I am very happy with the results on the website so far. Thank you for checking with me!
