Well, Iam puzzled. If when Iam in Categories with a whole article openned I click on the title of the article, I go to a page thas has the same exact URL but htat appears without any image. I’ve asked Joomlart for help on this and they say they could not see what was wrong…

    my website is at http://www.fotodigital-online.com.

If you’re curious to see what Iam talking about do this: Choose an article in the front page and click on the title. It will take you to a page with the article. Now press the title again. If by chance you still have images oin the article, press the title again. The article images and even some on the whole page images are gone…

    ????????????????

Anyone has any idea why this is happening?:(( I’ve checked my DB and it’s working fine. Also the link is right, but the images are gone.

I hope someone here can explain me what is wrong, because Joomlart can not.

    Thank you

Hi, jantunes. I have the same problem in my http://www.3dadictos.com. I’ve discovered that I have to disable the cache to solve that problem. Now the problem is that I want to put the cache on, because I want to make my web faster… Still I don’t found a solution, maybe any expert people could help us. I think must be an explanation, a way to turn on the cache without lose the images on articles:((

    Hi jantunes,

This seems to be an isolated issue of you site (its working fine on our demo), could you tell me:
    – Have you installed any suspicious extension which might cause this?
    – Have you changed some config in admin which let this happen?

    Hi hungnd,
I have the same problem that jantunes in my web (http://www.3dadictos.com): when I refresh a page (just in article pages; categories and front pages are ok), the thumbnails don’t work (just shows the alternative title). I think don’t have suspicious extensions and maybe I’ve changed something wrong in admin to produce that, but is really strange that only affects to refreshing article pages. Any suggestions? Thanks!

What happens of you clear the com_content item in the Joomla cache?

Sorry for my English, I wanted to say: “I’ve tried it, but the problem remains”

    Very odd

For instance, I pick any image at random and I can only browse to it once – http://www.3dadictos.com/images/resized/images/toshiba-qosmio-f60_200_200.jpg

The first time it is viewed it is correct.

The second time the URL shonw for the image on your page is

    http://www.3dadictos.com/reproductores/images/resized/images/toshiba-qosmio-f60_200_200.jpg

Notice the extra “reproductores” bit added. Something in your configuration is incorrect.Try turning off your sef component and clearing the cache that has. Also try checking all of the server settings and disabling the cache in the template manager.

If that fails please raise a ticket including your admin information so we can take a look.

I’ve tried your suggestions, but the problem remains still (now not just refreshing; directly when I open an article page for first time ). What a crazy site I have! I’ve sent a ticket as you suggest. Thanks for the replies!

I see your ticket but you have not included logon and ftp details there. Please add those so we can take a look.

I filled all the questions. I’ve send it again the info about FTP in a message on the ticket. Sorry, maybe I don’t understand what info do you need exactly: I send FTP address, username and password. And my Admin Username and Password for my site. Do I have to send anything else?

Maybe I am looking at the wrong ticket. Could you give me the ticket id so I can look.

Welll, the answer seems easier than we would ever thought.

I asked for help from JA and all they did was to move my T3 plugin down the plugin list to the very end. Suddenly all was working again. I knew I had not installed any thing strange so it had to be something simple. Now, after JA solved the question I had a new problem: some of my modules on the frontpage, even JA TABS would not work properly. What I did was to move the T3 plugin one step at a time up the list,. clean the cache and try, until I found I had my modules working perfectly. So now it is working and I’ve all my pictures back in categories.

You can check that at http://www.fotodigital-online.com

Any questions, I’ll be glad to answer… as long as I know them. And thanks to JA for sorting this out for me. It was puzzling.
