Hi JA

I would like to know:

1. Where can I edit search result page?

2. How I can make extra field value clickable link to filter only that value? (example: when I search “banana” when the result of banana is show with extra fields “fruit”, So I need is I can click on “fruit” in extra field it continue search to all result related to “fruit”.

You can edit layout of result page in backend >> JA K2 Filter >> Option >> Search Result Item Layout tab >> change the setting as you want.

At this time, JA K2 Filter doesn’t have feature as you mentioned, but you can try to use Type is Searchable Labels in K2 Extra filed and choose Magic Selection Type to show it on Module JA K2 Filter.

Check for extra field ‘Size’.

But I really need to know php file which I can add custom code to work as I want. which I need to hack some code php for search result.

So where can find php file for search result page?

Hi,

JA K2 Filter uses K2 templates, default template or one specific template as in setting ( Backend >> K2 filter >> Options >> Search Result Item layout : http://static.joomlart.com/images/userguide/jaec/ja_k2_filter/update/select-theme.png)

So if you want to customize result layout, then based on the template you choose, please go to template file to fix it.

For example, if you don’t change default setting, then file template of K2 can be located in:

componentscom_k2templatesdefaultcategory.php
and

componentscom_k2templatesdefaultcategory_item.php
