    Hi,

Where can I get the ja_vm_cat_browse file? I already had a virtuemart setup and I just installed the Larix template. I don’t think this file was included. Your help would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

If you check the quick install package, I believe it is in there.

    Gegit,

Thanks! It sure was in the quickinstall package. I like this browse template but it seems to have a problem with displaying the ‘add to cart’ button in Firefox 2. Even if you look at it in the Larix demo…the buttons are not there. You can click something, but it is invisible. Is there a fix for this?

I’m guessing someone here will have this one figured out soon but in the meantime I’ll go ahead and download FireFox and see if I can duplicate it as well as solve it.

Ok, I was unable to duplicate the problem. Have you tried viewing this in IE? If not, verify in Virtuemart and in Configuration that “Use Only as Catalog” box is NOT checked.

It works fine in IE. In Firefox…I found that the problem only occurs when you switch to the ‘Green’ color scheme. The ‘add to cart’ button shows in the other color schemes. I don’t know why this is only happening in Green…do you have any ideas? This is important for me because I set Green as my default.

My mistake…the same issue occurs in IE7…only when using Green color.

It is not a template, it is a php-file. It is in the zip-file of the Quickstart for JA-Larix. The filename is: ja_vm_cat_browse.php and has to be copied to the folder: administrator/components/com_virtuemart/html/templates/browse/.

    Kind Regards,
    Peter

It sets the layout for the category browse pages. You don’t have to have it. VirtueMart already comes with a couple of browse layouts already.
