I apologize if this is elsewhere (have looked all over forums, site, and user manual) but I was wondering where (or what file) I can use to edit the opaque text area over the header picture.
Thanks so much.

October 10, 2007 at 6:46 am #230880Make yourself a new SECTION call it headlines or something make a new CATEGORY and call it flash headlines and link it to your section now make up a list on content ITEMS each with a bit of text to go into your top header and link them all to your flash headlines category.
Now go to your modules and assign JA Headlies to the HEADLINES section, You should now have all your headlines rotating through the header.
October 10, 2007 at 4:48 pm #230893Thank you very much! I got most of the way through, however I cannot find a module wih this template called JA Headlines. I only have JA news and JA newsflashes.
In addition- does it matter what user area I have them assigned. I don’t see the sections or categories that I created as an option.
Thanks again for your help.

October 11, 2007 at 4:19 pm #230943You do have more than one headline items don’t you….you must have at least two headlines items for it to work.
Can you put up a url link of your siteOctober 11, 2007 at 4:25 pm #230944one last question (i hope? ) I am looking to slightly modify the way the text is displayed in the spotlight module. I have found what I believe to be right in the CSS, but it does not seem to have the right effect. I woudl like when you mouse-over the button, and the opaque color block slides up- to not have the full text so close to the left. Here is what I was trying to modify- am I in the right area?
/* SLWI */
.ja-slwi-container {
width: 100%;}
.ja-slwi-container h3 {
margin: 0 !important;
padding: 7px 10px !important;
font-size: 100% !important;
line-height: normal !important;
}.ja-slwi-text {
margin-top: 0;
margin-right: 0;
margin-bottom: 0;
margin-left: 10;
padding-top: 0;
padding-right: 10px;
padding-bottom: 0;
padding-left: 10px;
}thanks so much for your help.

October 14, 2007 at 12:27 pm #231028mfcphil,
Thanks for getting back to me with your point about having one or more content items
I’ve actually got 7 published in there now and double checked that I’ve got the ja newsflash module assigned to the correct category and section.
so I Still see the same errors.
Warning: main(globals.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in m/web/modules/ja_newsflash/ja-newsflashloader.php on line 25
Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘globals.php’ (include_path=’.:/web/modules/ja_newsflash/ja-newsflashloader.php on line 25
wondered if this is the actual error message that others would see if they did have no content published ?
any more help greatly appeciated
Thanks

October 15, 2007 at 2:36 pm #231071Sorry Tripper
But when I had this error I simply made sure I had more than one headline or notice running and this fixed the problem for me.
Sorry don’t have an answer for you….
try posting your problem somewhere else on this forum other than Rochea as someone may have had this problem on another template.
