Hi

It is not a module or plugin , it is hardcoded into template features from Template manager >> Your default template >> General Tab >> Extended settings >> Related articles.

oh!… so it means "all or nothing"?.. I can enable or disable them, but not hide them for the uncategorised articles?…

Correct

A solution could be disable it and use an external extension take a look HERE
