    Please see

    http://www.femalescans.com

    and compare with demo template found in this site. I don’t know how you call it. It is used in the first article (date display).

    Is there something in particular you are wanting to do with it?

    Hi Global Moderator Tom Crawford,

    Nothing in particular. What is shown in the demo template should (in my opinion) work with the costumer template. Some weeks ago “it” disappeared. May I get it back, please?

    I’m not certain what you mean by “it disappeared.” I will take a closer look and get back to you with what I find.
    Unfortunately – due to the nature of the content of your site – I cannot bring up your site at this moment. Will do so a bit later.

    I’m still not seeing what elements are “disappearing – compared to the demo.

    Can you be more specific?

    Did you see the content of the circle? Compare it with the first article date on the site. It should be in the same way but it isn’t.

    If I may jump in with an observation…

    It appears you are missing images and perhaps a whole folder.
    The image you are looking for what produces the background for the DATE IS:
    /ja_blazes/templates/ja_blazes/images/bg-date.png – that is missing in your template…and it is not called for in your CSS either.

    What I would do is uninstall the template (just the template), download a fresh copy of the template and reinstall it. That should bring them back.

    John.

    Hi jwbrett,

    I checked the file and the image folder and it seems that there is missing nothing. The ‘bg-date.png’ file exists and is not corrupt. Nevertheless you mean I should uninstall and reinstall the template?

    Belay that last request…I see you have the files. Your template. though, is different (back end) than our current version, so yes, I would uninstall the template and reinstall the latest version (setting another template as default first…like BEEZ).
    You might also bring your site up to 2.5.2 before you do…just to make sure everything is fresh. You have a few other modules/components/plugins that need updating, but none should be causing this problem.

    Those are my recommendations.

    Hi jwbrett,

    As a native English speaker you should be able to tell me how you call “it”. Could it be ‘banderole’?

    Well, beside the semantic question my problem still exists. I created a test site in

    http://www.europanabahia.com.br/~fmstest

    upgraded Joomla from 1.7.3 to 2.5.2
    upgraded all Joomlart extensions
    uninstalled the Blazes template
    changed to another template
    downloaded/uploaded the last Blazes template version
    made the code changes removing the following code

    <?php
    //get images
    $regex = ‘#<img[^>]*>#’;
    $image = ”;
    if (preg_match ($regex, $this->item->introtext, $matches)) {
    $image = $matches[0];
    $this->item->introtext = str_replace ($image, ”, $this->item->introtext);
    }
    ?>
    <?php if ($image) : ?>
    <div class=”article-image”>
    <?php echo $image ?>
    </div>
    <?php endif; ?>

    in the following files:
    templatesja_blazeshtmlcom_contentcategoryblog _item.php
    templatesja_blazeshtmlcom_contentfeatureddefa ult_item.php
    templatesja_blazeshtmlcom_contentarticledefault.php

    Result: “it” is still no there. But there is second problem now:

    http://www.europanabahia.com.br/~fmstest/index.php/videos/161-good-girls/466-jenni2
    text now on the right side (wrong)

    http://www.femalescans.com/index.php/videos/161-good-girls/466-jenni2
    text under the image (correct)

    Any more suggestions?

    Back to your first problem, did you apply the custom page class? If yes did you put a leading space before the class? That leading space is important.

    Also, do you have leading articles set to 1?

    You must have a leading article as that little tag is only applied to the leading article.

    It was the lack of a leading article. I have set this to 1 and now you have your little tag.

    Oh my God! So the non native speakers know now that “it” is a “tag” and the whole club knows now that I missed the first Joomla lessons! Nevertheless, THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

    Try making it featured in k2

    OF COURSE I know! But as a German citizen living in Brazil – and probably like many other non native English speakers – I did not know how to call “it”. Now we all know. “It” is not a “banderole”, it is a “tag”. Thanks again, Phill!!!
