As a member, I’m a little upset that JA Teline IV was not one of the first templates / quickstarts done for Joomla 1.7. I do realize that it may be a very complicated template to rework, but Teline IV is actually the ONLY one I like and use.

I was having so many problems with my sites that I took them down. It really stinks that I had to do that, but I got tired of chasing down conflicts, and for some reason, the t3 system plugin was having big problems loading. JA Voice wouldn’t work for me in Teline IV, and JA Comment had some problems too.

I understand that sometimes, in the rush to keep ALL customers happy, you have to make choices. But those left behind sometimes face irreparable consequences.

Just thought I’d let you know.

We appreciate your comments and personal feelings with regard to the time it takes to properly update a complex template such as Teline IV. As you accurately recognize, we make every effort to update our templates and extensions as quickly – but as thoroughly – as possible so as to service as many of our members as we can. In this respect, you are absolutely correct in your identification that carefully planned roadmaps and choices have had to be made.

Might I inquire what “irreparable consequences” you have had to endure in relation to the time it has taken to update Teline IV for J1.7? Were you not utilizing Teline IV for J1.5 previously?

I do have some good news for you, however . . . . It is my understanding that the update (and extensive testing) for Teline IV J1.7 has been completed and the announcement for it’s release – along with several additional templates -will be made very soon.
