    I am trying to put a image slider in the position of ‘content content-main’ and do not see anywhere in the list of modules where that is at. I cannot find it in the ‘Module Position Selection’ when i try to add the image slider module.

    Are wanting the image slider module to be where the text “Hi, I am a webdesigner and photographer.”…… is at.

    Please help

    The main content block is actually hard-coded into the layout. You can view it within Template Manager – Layouts – Default

    It is not a module position for which a module (like slideshow) can be assigned. And the other issue is, you cannot simply remove it from your default template layout – else all other content that would be ascribed to that block would not display either.

    If that exact position is where you want your slideshow to display, you are likely going to need to create a custom layout override for your homepage where the main content block is not displayed and you have customized the override to position your slideshow there.

    Here are several resources for understanding layout overrides in Joomla . . .

    Trying a different way if possible.

    I got the image slideshow module up in there using the ‘Modules Anywhere’ Plugin just inserting into the article the code
    {module Simple Spotlight}

    Is it possible to get the text to align to the left side with the image module on the far right side this way? possibly using ‘sourcerer’ and inserting some code to accomplish this?

    something like this image :

    I just did it inserting a 1 x 2 table while using the ‘Moudles Anywhere’ plugin.

    It looks great on Firefox but the image slideshow in IE9 goes off to the right side outside of the website frame a bounch.

    Is there any way to control the width of the tables?
