March 28, 2011 at 7:11 am #383577This is a simple custom module which doesnt have working functionality and has been added for demo purpose
Here is the code snippet which can be entered to achieve the desired module ::

March 29, 2011 at 9:19 am #383775Hi,
In the downloads only the custom HTML module is provided. The module in use is K2 search and filter module, which works on the extrafield settings of the K2.
http://www.joomlart.com/joomla/extensions/ja-k2-search
This extension is available only for JAEC (extension club members) or JA Dev members. If you require this extension for your site, you can sign up for JAEC with $10 off for JATC members with 7 days no questions asked refund guarantee.
Regards
Arvind

July 9, 2011 at 12:52 pm #400367When JATC membership is advertised and promoted as including the extensions used in the demos, we as members would assume they are included and working. When was the decision made to change this policy and when was it anounced to the members.
Not a big deal but certainly not fair.1 user says Thank You to aardcom for this useful post

Not a big deal but certainly not fair.</blockquote>Hi,
Regarding your JATC Standard Membership – 1 year, i would like to make clear that with this membership, you can download any available templates + complimentary extensions built in during membership period. When each template releases, we also give out a list of complimentary extensions and ‘JAEC Extensions Used’ for reference via release news.
There might have some complimentary extensions are not listed in JAEC club as they are integrated for specific templates only or there are some extensions used in demo site but they are JAEC extensions club / 3rd party extensions, not complimentary extensions.
For JA Portfolio template, the list of complimentary extensions and ‘JAEC Extensions Used’ can be found via release news of each template. E.g: Here is the release news of JA Portfolio template:http://www.joomlart.com/joomla/templates/ja-portfolio
K2 search and filter module is not in the list of complimentary extensions http://www.joomlart.com/joomla/templates/ja-portfolio so that you are required to buy our JAEC to have permission to get download.
Hope it’s clearer now.

July 14, 2011 at 5:16 pm #401194Thanks for the “clarification”, but having been a member for a few years I can say that the ‘new’ policies are a little misleading. Older template demos did not include separate categories for included extensions and used extensions. While the policy is stated elsewhere on the site it is not as clear as you state. To be clear you should say USED (available with a JETC addon) or similar. We’re web designers not lawyers. That said, we do appreciate the added features and the inclusion of the JETC addons and 3rd party addons so we can see the possibilities and the use of the features in action. Thanks again for the explanation.
