K2 styling for templates that were updated from J1.7 to J2.5 do not include styling for K2 – just as they did not within their previous J1.7 versions. Only the latest JATC J2.5 Template releases (from JA Nex forward) include styling for K2.kyovev Friendkyovev

At this time, JA still does not know whetherthere will be a big push to re-visit these templates toward adding K2 styling to them. This, of course, does not – and should not – stop you from integrating K2 into your JA Social J2.5 based site on your own.To this effect, a methodical approach toward working toward this would be to study the K2 styling files within the J1.5 version . . . as well as the K2 styling (and relative files) within one of the newer J2.5 templates that include K2 . . . and, through some methodical trial-and-error (and associated patience as you work through the process), there is every reason to be confident that you can accomplish this goal.

April 23, 2012 at 2:39 pm #449779I think they have a good point. Joomlart should either provide support or remove the mentioning of K2 styling from the description:

With JA Social, everyone is a winner. Probably the best social template for Joomla!, featuring custom style for JomSocial, Agora Forums & K2 component. We have even developed 6 new extensions especially for JA Social template and updated a few to suit JA Social.
JA Social is running on our new T3 V2 framework and template backend is a delight. Facebook like, facebook share, tweet and Comment Plugin (disqus, intensedebate or js-kit) are updated to work with joomla! articles or k2 articles and even both.

Link to description: http://www.joomlart.com/joomla/templates/ja-social
The template has been updated to Joomla 2.5, JomSocial 2.4 (2.6 in the making)….K2 missing for now.
(Looking into K2 now, so pure self interest in commenting 😉 ).
