I can not figure out for the life of me where the css is that points to the mainnav-right.gif and mainnav-left.gif, I want to edit the spacing and replace .gif with .png files.

Also, I used the quickstart and If you go to the front of mysite m page reads “Welcome To the front page”. I thought this was an article or something but I deleted all the articles and it is still there. Any help would be great.

fixed both problems, welcome is in global config, and the files are in the menu/whatever_menu_you_use/.css file.
