You can find the user guide in the forums. http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/ja-koniga-readme-bug-reports/

The thread was no help. I need to figure out how the avatar function works. There is no mention of that. Is there any user guide (html or pdf). The template description mentions one
    Under Features I read

<blockquote>Delivered with source .PSD and FONT files, Demo site sample database and detailed user guide which can be found in JA Koniga download folder. </blockquote>

but I could not find it in any of the downloads.

    Please help.

Which avatar exactly are you talking about and do you have a link to your site?

I just need an explanation on what the “Avatar” is, how it workds and how to use it.

On the Koniga template description page, in the graphic that shows module positions -> In “Built-in Function”Block C says “Avatar” function.

    see http://www.joomlart.com/templates_club/club_portfolio/ja_koniga.html

Its listed as part of the template, its not anything 3rd party.

My site is still just a shell, and there really is no avatar there to point to, since I have not been able to figure out how it works.

    Please help.

I have a feeling that avatar might just be a module position and nothing more.

The avatar is part of the newsflash module. The module position is user5. You find the image, which is actually shown as avatar, in the folder templatesja_konigaimagesavatars – exchange it to an image you like with the same size as the example image. The more images you put in that avatar folder, the more changes you have on your site, because everytime another image will be shown there. No more to configure for the avatar function – it just shows an image.
