    I have 2 installation of JA Social with sample data and without sample data. With sampled data no problem but when create a user under without sample data one it says user successfully saved but it does not appear on the list also I cannot login with newly created user account. When I try to create same user name again I got error which says this user already exist. Where these users are gone?

    Hi icbl,

    Please check your configuration: Admin > global configuration > system > user settings.
    Make sure these options are checked:
    Allow User Registration : Yes, New User Registration: Registered, New User Account Activation: Yes.
