    Hi,

I’d like to assign the contact form to a specifique template theme but I can’t find it in the options of assignement.

    The attachments might illustrate better.

Where could I change the assignement for the contact form?

    Thanks

    Hi there

If you have this specific need , then you can duplicate your default template changing the assigned theme and assign it to your contact form menu item and manage from it the assignments.

    Hi,

Thanks for answering so fast. That was actually my question: I didn’t find the menu item from the list to assign the template to.
The contact-form on my site does not possess a page, nor a menu. It’s actually a link on the homepage as underlined in the attachment.

    Hi there

If you installed quickstart package you should have also a menu "joomla pages" inside main menu and a contact-us menu item inside it

also could you edit your first post and add your website url with a super user temp account to website backend so we can look closer at your configuration and be more accurate in our answers ?

    Hi,

The site is not yet on line, that makes it difficult to regulate the issue, I’m sorry.

I did install the template with the quickstart and I’m afraid so many changes have been done to the mune that it does not at all look like the demo one.

I did, however, find the one that makes changes to the contact-form, strangely enough, it was the search menu.

Any idea if I could reassign the contact-form so that it won’t change as the search page because they happen to need different color template.

    Thanks

Sorry but it is not clear to me what you mean exactly , however i suggest to create an hidden menu and inside it add contact form menu item and assign it to the new template style you created .

This should solve all your problems

By hidden menu you mean the menu item unpublished but the form published?
    I shall try.
    Thanks
