August 28, 2008 at 11:02 am #267669What about Joomla 1.0? Not all menu items have the “Page Title” parameter. Also I’ve tryed a test link with com_frontpage and the Page Title didn’t show up under the menu item name?

August 28, 2008 at 11:34 am #267673Sorry for the double post.
My bad, once I changed the menu type to Moo Menu the page title was shown. The default menu type is Flymoo, that’s what confused me.

August 29, 2008 at 8:36 am #267804Well the page title was shown at com_frontpage, because it has a separated “Page title” parameter once you link it to the menu.
But once I started linking stuff like content or contact and some other components, I couldn’t find that page title parameter. So the text below is just the name of the link re-written again. Which is pretty useless. So I was wondering what to do in that case?
I’ve tryed changing the title of the content, which should work as the content title becomes the page title, but it didn’t? But even if it would work, I still don’t know what to do in case of a custom component without the “Page title” parameter?
Thanks in advance for any kinda info!

August 29, 2008 at 11:52 pm #267889I don’t know from where it is pulling that text under the menu. I removed everything in parameters system for a particular menu, it still shows the same menu name by default even if nothing is there. As said for some other menu choices, it doesn’t seem to be a problem.
Adding to the problem – if select – no for page title. still it shows. so confusing!.
On a different note – template show params.ini is unwritable, but still any changes made in the template manager is saved. how is that possible?
can u make this thread ‘unsolved’?
