I have some trouble with sh404sef sending some 404 errors to the frontpage and not my 404 page.

I have talked to my host and they say it would help with <jdoc:include type=”component” />

It is missing on my frontpage.

Where can i insert it so it loads on my frontpage?

I think its not the reason, because by default <jdoc:include type=”component” /> always exist in the template, you can check by yourself by opening this file:
templatesja_zeolite_iilayoutsblocksmain.php
