The content blocks I’ve tried (about half a dozen) have static text. I want to display articles with new articles automatically appearing and changing the page. (Like a Joomla home page.)

Having so many blocks to choose is great – until you have to find a particular function. Can someone point me to which blocks are good for displaying articles? Which pages? Which have control like # of articles.

Advice very welcome.

Hi jenniebourne,

You’re right, almost of the blocks include static content. You can try one of follow ways to show articles content.

1) Create your Home menu item with type of Joomla content as you wish: Article Category Blog / Featured Articles / etc …. and assign JA Builder to this Home menu item. It will then show all blocks you add via builder tool and also include the articles in the main content.

2) Show articles retrieved by Joomla module:

• User any Joomla module which supports to show articles content and setup as you wish
• Edit Homepage via builder > add a block called ‘Spotlight’ , then load the module you created above

Thanks for the clear answer. This really is a profound limit.
For the moment, I’m going to hand paste the articles into one of the existing blocks.

JA Company claims to integrate Builder. I hope that solves the problem.
