Which expansion do you use for your blog section? I’m looking for a solution I can use on my own website.
I search the questioners is the blog of user http://www.joomlart.com/blog

August 24, 2011 at 7:27 pm #408217Hi Henrik,
Joomlarts blog is using K2 by Joomlaworks.gr – http://getk2.org
We have many templates that support this incredible extension (IMHO).Regards

August 24, 2011 at 7:58 pm #408223To tag on to what my fellow colleague, Trimund, said . . . yes, the extension for the bog feature on most of the more recent Joomlart templates has been K2. However, there are additional alternatives out there as well – just to add some flavor/variety to the mix – such as ZOO and jSEBOLD

August 24, 2011 at 8:41 pm #408234K2 is not yet available for that. Unfortunately you would have to seek an alternative or use the custom blog layouts included in the J1.7 templates JA have released. Check out the demos (click the J1.7 available button) to see the blog layouts.

August 24, 2011 at 9:21 pm #408246Well, K2 will be available for Joomla 1.7 soon.
I can’t tell the same for latest Joomlart templates that are currently working with Joomla categories. They look pretty impressive by the way 🙂

Actually, I believe K2 has a release candidate (RC) for J1.7 available via the K2 website right now.
In my experience, the release candidates are, for all intents and purposes, just as stable as the final releases.Though, there always IS the possibility of a bug or two … or thirty … being identified by users.
Still, if you want to try integrating K2 into a J1.7 template now, that is a way you can go.

August 25, 2011 at 12:36 am #408264K2 is a great system if you’re just looking to blog.
They do have an RC (Release Candidate) version out for 1.7, and in my testing it performed quite well. We heard today that K2 will have a final release for 1.7 out very soon!jooservices Friendjooservices

August 25, 2011 at 1:39 am #408271I highly recommend you to wait a few days for stable release and use the K2, it is a great component, and if you are still at the development mode of your site and will not need to release it soon, use the release candidate (RC) version.
K2 is great and very flexible you can create many different websites just with K2.
