I’m fully aware that the more features that are enabled the slower this template will load.

Which features/modules (in order of performance gains) can be disabled to best improve homepage load times?

    Thanks.

That’s actually a pretty good question. I would not mind knowing what load specific plugins cause.

So far i have seen, my site is running faster after when i disable:
JA Zin Plugin (which is recommended to disable after you created your Menu structure)
Comments System. (Default was intensedebate. This tooks sometimes ages to load the page)
    Choose split menu

That are my ideas so far….

    Cheers

Going in the right direction. JS-Kit ist the lightest comment system i have experienced when compared with disqus or Intensedebate. Ofcourse, disabling the weather module too shall be a boost to the Teline III.

But i still find the performance far far better than any of the Teline series. One can also edit the typo.css file to remove additional typo styles… that will save http requests and CSS images. Give it a try… I never use typo.css styles on my sites… as i never use them. It helps.

Yet to fully test drive to have optimization analysis of the teline 3 yet.

That is a good article. But in terms of this template T iii, have you tested which modules are fast vs. slow? on your sample site?
