Hello,

I am just getting up to speed in using Joomla after about eight weeks with it. I have limited exposure to third-party extensions. I checked the official Joomla forum on several occasions but there’s alot to wade through there.

With that I mind I would really appreciate some suggestions for a forms (or other type of) component that might work best for my needs.

I would like visitors to my web site, who are so motivated, to contribute content. Once approved the submissions would be transformed into articles. First, I thought about creating a frontend user account for each visitor, but after a while that seemed unworkable given the potential numbers of visitors and the inability to mold submissions into a specified format.

Instead, what I am thinking about now is using a forms component where I define the fields, visitors complete the form, and the fields get dumped automatically into a predefined article format (for example, an events calendar listing.) The component would utilize captcha and require users to set-up password protected accounts.

What would work especially well with JA Edenite? I would appreciate any and all suggestions.
