i need to add a module to the right of my slideshow . All it would contain is a h3 head and about 3 lines of text.

I found a post on how to add a module to that section but I am unclear as to what module I would use.

Do I use a module and attach an article to it? If so which one?

When you click MODULE MANAGER > NEW then select “CUSTOM”

This will give you a blank module on which to build.
