    Hello Joomlart folks-
I just joined (free for the moment) because our non-profit organization is looking for a template for our Joomla! based site. We’re currently using a template that was built by a couple of people who were brand new to Joomla! and if you look at the code, it shows!

The visual design is not too bad but it’s time to move into 2008. At the moment the Wistery template is catching my eye as a viable option. My question is what is your opinion? Which of the JA templates do you think could be best suited to our site?

    Specs:
    Joomla! CMS
    Simple Machines Forum (integrated)
    Community Builder
    VirtueMart
    AKReservations
As yet undecided newsletter component to be added soon.

The colors needed are red, green, silver (gray), black, tan. We’ll be doing the template customization ourselves and I would very much like opinions on which JA templates are fairly easy to customize for colors and fonts. I have decent Photoshop skills and I understand some of what I am seeing when I look at source files. 😉 I understand how to use Joomla! pretty well because our site has been using it since 2005.

    The address is http://www.corpsvets.org

My credit card is sitting here next to my computer because I would really love to start today!

Okay- I haven’t heard from anyone and don’t really expect to after only 4 or 5 hours. :p but I kinda need to get things moving. So, I’m signing up and hopefully someone will reply with some helpful suggestions.
    -Thanks

You’ll get access to all the templates, so you can basically try each thing one out and see what’s best for you!

I bought the 1 year membership and I’m doing exactly that.
