I have purchased this template yesterday. I am having difficulty to findout what plugin controls what area ? You have a good image of user positions. But which user positions is controlled by which plugin/module is not shown. Also, my login, top menu are getting misplaced. What should be right user positions for these to get the effect of your demo template.
I like your template verymuch..
Please help to point me to some documentations. Thanks;)

December 10, 2008 at 6:07 am #282115Hi Samerhere, welcome to Joomlart!
Glad you like the templates. They are great! I agree.
To get the effect of the demo, you should install the quickstart, if you do not do that already.
The areas are not really controlled by plugins or modules but are coded in the template and there named right, left, user 2 or user 3 etc.
In the Admin you go to Extentsions, Modules and chose any module there. Open to edit, and you will see “Position” This is where you chose which position the module gets.
The pugins are different. They are like small programs that are run on any article you write, so that you can include them on any page you want inside the text, to display images, or whatever they plugin does.
I hope this is a help.

Hi..
Thanks for the information. But how do i install quickstart, ? Should i delete all files under public_html and replace with this ?. I tried doing this on my local machine. But the user data was lost and i had trouble getting other existing plugins working. Is there any way to do this still maintaining old plugins. Or should i dot this quickstart overwrite on my public_html and then add plugins. My site is still in dev state and i can afford to overwrite and do fresh install…
please advice..:)sunrise Friendsunrise
