    Hi,

I cannot see any difference between the following 3 templates:

    ja_wall
    ja_wall_showcase
    ja_wall_typo

What exactly are …showcase and …typo?

I’ve been wondering that myself. No mention in the support docs.

    Hi Dave,

ZenKit looks interesting. Are you thinking of trying this out with JA Wall? If so, let us know the results?

Might give it a go as the K2 layouts look better than the JA K2 blog layout however you never know if these will conflict..

If I really give up on this I might give the below a try….looks like the Wall was not the first of its kind. This one is built on T3 framework, has more mod positions / layouts and reaps the benefit of being based on a framework…..both have there pros and cons however ..

    Hi Dave,

Honestly, I think JA Wall is more powerful than bensroben. However, that is only based on the type of website that I am building. For me (and my pet website), JA Wall is close to perfect (when the bugs get ironed out). But a few extra module positions (esp. at the top) would have been nice. I am trying to keep my components/plugins to a minimum and JA Wall has forced me to re-think how I design websites. For instance, instead of using directories (and the multitude of plugins/modules needed to make these useful) like Zoo or SobiPro or Mosets, I will use K2. Instead of using JomSocial, I will use comments and forum components that are mostly responsive.

Having said that, I have a few other websites that would not work well with JA Wall but would work (and look) better with other responsive templates that I have seen.

The jquery masonry script is great and I am seeing more and more templates/modules built around it. I really like ZenKit as an enhancement to JA Wall and I might pursue this…

    Hi Rene,

We will soon release the new JAWall version which support more position.
    ja_wall_showcase
=> The style of wall block on Showcase menu is a little different compare to the default style of wall block on homepage.
There are more information on the block.

    ja_wall_typo
=> We will not support this theme. It is just prototype.

    Regards
