I have two sites using JoomlArt templates and love the look of the sites. However, when I change pages, there is a distracting “white empty page” between page changes.

this is with the uvite template.

I also have another site under construction using the new JA Zinc template. It has just been loaded from the quickstart files and shows the same behavior.

If it was a joomla issue, it would happen on their site..but it does not ever appear on their site.

What can I do to stop that?
thank you for the beautiful work with your templates.

Hi Mneese, I’ve looked at both sites with both FF and IE and can see no problems. There is a perfect transition between pages.

It could be a setting on your browser where you have it set not to cache the site and therefor would have to load the entire CSS every time you load a page. Are you behind a proxy or in a ‘private’ mode maybe?

May I ask who your host is? The pages load super fast!!!

    Hi Mneese

I’m with scotty! I tested the sites with FF and Safari running on a Mac. No white pages to be seen, a nice seamless page to page transition.

Nice site by the way, job well done!

thanks for checking. i have only seen this in the last few days, so i’ll check my browser settings… i just tried IE7 and it does not show, whereas Chrome displays a white page between changes.
    Hmmmm.

Thanks for the comments and also my host is Rochen. They are the best in my mind and they also host the Joomla.org sites, so they are very Joomla ready.

I didn’t test in Chrome until now and yes, I see what you mean.

For some reason it is not happening with the ‘web links’ menu item but is with the others.

If it’s any conciliation it’s happening with my own sites too.
