May 31, 2008 at 3:38 pm #129133Hello,
As far as I know, I am a Club member, at least until Aug 2008. I was not participating here for quite awhile, and I came back only when I saw the JA Teline II (see Note below). So, I am participating again.
Anyway, when I came back, I was first listed as unlicensed member. So, I posted a note on this, and it was changed. Then, when I was looking at some people’s names in the forum, many are listed as “Club Member” but “Unlicensed Member”.
Can someone be a “Club Member” and “Unlicensed”? I thought it requires a license, i.e., a valid membership to become a “Club Member’?
Or, was the discrepancy an error in the system?
OK, the reason why I ask this is that, as a “Club Member” and a “Licensed Member”, I thought I have access to the “JA Commercial Extensions”?
I tried first time, because I wanted to download the JA Submit but when I tried to download, my attempt to download was rejected. Odd. Initially, I thought it was because those must be for those who only have Developer Accounts. Is this notion correct?
Well, I should tell you why I want to download JA Submit again. I downloaded the old one when I first became a member. The one I downloaded was from the Free” extensions. And, I like it because the one for in the User Menu is only for the default “Submit News” and obviously it would not link to other sections, except News.
The JA Submit I downloaded when I first joined was decent, but I thought there might be an upgrade since then, so I tried to download it again. I went to the Free Extensions. And, I downloaded what was there. I installed. It worked, but it was not something I would share to the world, if I were Joomlart — because it would not reflect a good reputation for Joomlart. Try it, if you do not believe me.
Anyway, I though I will just use the old free JA Submit that I downloaded last year. Then, for some reason, I decided I want the latest. So, I got back to the download page, and found something in the “JA Commercial Extensions”.
Maybe this is what I need.
I tried once, twice, three times… as the old song says, and each time, I got this:
(name), you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else’s post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation. Is this true????

Quite a very good start for a magazine template and congratulations to the developers on this. There is quite a room for improvement though. So, I hope the developers are reading the comments and postings so that I hope this template will improve further.instantinlaw Friendinstantinlaw

May 31, 2008 at 5:04 pm #251397Hi
I am pretty sure that only developer members can download the commercial extensions. -
