    Hello,

How do I apply an included template style such as “ja_fixel – Home Blue” site-wide? Changing this style to Default does nothing whatsoever.

In fact, changing the Default Template itself to Beez does nothing either. It’s as if any change I make in the template manager is of no effect.

I’m using a complete quickstart install (with sample data) with issues prevalent on my local host XAMMP and a live server, so I know it’s not a server issue.

I’m new to Joomla 3.0, with the last version I was comfortable using being 1.5— where changing the default template style variations in your templates was extremely easy. Is there something different I need to do with Joomla 3 to get the style variation change I make (ja_fixel – Home Blue) in the template manager to apply to the entire site?

    Thank You.

    I’ve figured it out.

For anyone who has a similar issue int he future, the theme style needs to be not only set as default, but assigned to all menu items. This can be done by doing the following:

Template Manager > Click on the chosen theme style > Assignment (menu tab) > Toggle Selection > Save
