    Hi team at Joomlart,

I just wanted to know why when switching between languages, some pages load differently then after you refresh the page it is going back to normal?

Please see screenshot below as an example. When refreshing the page, it goes back to the correct layout.

    Kindest regard,
    Alyssa

It’s been almost 3 days, so I would appreciate a response on this question… even if it is a "we do not have a reason for this"… many thanks.

    Hi Alyssa,

Could you specify the steps by steps so I can replicate issue on your site?

    Thanks for following up Saguaros!

For example when I go to the subdomain: http://agro.yabanciturkler.com/ar/ (arabic version)
It doesn’t go to the correct page which is the map page: http://agro.yabanciturkler.com/ar/agro-map-ar-aa

    Why is this the case?

    Kindest regards,
    Alyssa

    And the russian version: http://agro.yabanciturkler.com/ru/

Your kind support would be very much appreciated! Many thanks again Saguaros as always.

    Hi Alyssa,

All of above pages throw error:
SYNTAX ERROR, UNEXPECTED ‘PAGE’ (T_STRING), EXPECTING ‘,’ OR ‘)’

I try to set template style to default Joomla template to see how it goes but it seems doesn’t affect, which menu these pages belong to? (for example: http://agro.yabanciturkler.com/ru/ )

    Regards

These pages do not have a menu assigned to them.

I am not sure how to get it to work. Would be very grateful to get this to work by today! Many thanks for everything Saguaros!

It’s weird, a Joomla page should belong to a menu item, it’s default behavior. How did you create that page?

    I never created a page for agro.yabanciturkler.com/ar/

The page I created as in arabic was this for the map page: http://agro.yabanciturkler.com/ar/agro-map-ar-aa

How do I get the agro.yabanciturkler.com/ar/ to point to it?

If you set it as default page of AR language.

FYI: in multilingual template, you create a menu item for one language, you then must create the associated item for other languages on your site.

I cannot set it as default because the main domain arabic page is set as the default. The default page doesnt work for subdomain pages found on the same Joomla admin panel. Do you have any kind advice on how to solve this?

    Kindest regards,
    Alyssa

    Hi Alyssa,

I’m afraid that it must be set as default or the menu item of homepage is the alias menu of that page.
