I did not do anything except custome footer in this configuration layout.

Hi
it looks like this because this is the maximum height of the body. The total content on the pages is not as much as it will fill the full height. For example, if you will click on the Miscellaneous Information On contact page u will see the space will gone, it is because the content on the page is more that increase the height .
