I see a lot of K2 sample information, but Virtuemart is missing from the components menu and it is not showing in the Joomlart “Extension Manager”. I see the VM AIO in the Joomlart Extension Manager, but no VM.
Any help would be great.

June 25, 2013 at 4:41 am #496799Hi,
With quickstart package for 2.5, it should have VM included. Please try download and install again.
This thread was missed to reply and I’m sorry for the same.

October 21, 2013 at 8:57 pm #509756what is the point for advertising/delivering Vinitas 3.1 with virtuemart? Lastly if I develop with 2.5.x how easy will it be to upgrade to 3.x when virtuemart does become available? Thanks for your help

October 21, 2013 at 9:11 pm #509758Hi,
As you can see here -> http://www.joomlart.com/joomla/templates/ja-vintas The blog post sais

JA Vintas is August 2012 ecommerce theme Joomla 2.5 template. Vintas supports Virtuemart component for the shopping cart and comes with great K2 styles, not to mention the bonus pages.
So it’s an ecommerce template for J!2.5.x and it has also been updated for Joomla 3.x but we can’t do anything for 3rd party software, many people would probably like this template for the K2 or for other purposes as it’s a fantastic one.
As per your question in order to update the JA Vintas from J!2.5.x to J!3.x that’s already supported i can’t say anything on behalf of VM or K2.
I hope it’s more clear now.
Regards
Manos

October 21, 2013 at 9:22 pm #509760Just to add to the above from Manos, the team behind VM plan to release the first version to be compatible with Joomla 3x around March 2014 at the earliest. Until they do there is no telling how easy the upgrade process would be. From the Joomla and JA templates and extensions side it is simple but we have no way of predicting what VM 2.4 will bring. Hopefully that will be simple too.

October 21, 2013 at 9:25 pm #509761Thanks guys if I was to use 3.1 version would It be a waste of time to use another 3rd party rather then virtuemart or is it too tightly woven into the code?
Thanks
slightly aside:
I am evaluating merits of using 2.5 seems good, but I need to update virtuemart, do I use the templates JA extention manager I am getting this:Response from JoomlArt Updater Service: Sorry, this extension is invalid, unpublished or no longer supported: com_virtuemart
Please update the service setting or contact with service provider.when I use virtuemarts update I get this:

Just a suggestion here, you could try K2store?@dinopatel 394613 wrote:
