This is sooooo strange, I know how it works, but this is the first time that the ‘Slideshow’ isn’t showing. What am I doing wrong? :((

@smartmax: This is result on your site

Your site is appearing with default-left layout and it doesn’t define slideshow position on it. But I can add it with my below solution.

Open templates/ja_hawkstore/tpls/default-left.php file

From

<?php $this->loadBlock ('header') ?>

Change to

<?php $this->loadBlock ('header') ?>
<?php $this->loadBlock ('slideshow') ?>

Yes, I am having the same issue with my JA Droid template. You will see that my slideshow is missing in my “slideshow” position below my nav bar:

It was working at first, but my update manager is telling me to update the JA slideshow. When I try to update I am getting these errors:

<blockquote>Unknown Archive type
Update path does not exist

Error updating COM_INSTALLER_TYPE_TYPE_.</blockquote>

I’m assuming the issue with updating is affecting my slideshow module. I can PM my admin details if needed. Thanks!

I have quickly checked on URL of your site before posted I saw source image is pointing to empty image folder: images/stories/slidehow/

I would need to take a closer look at your site. Please pm me admin access of your site. I shall help you debug this problem.

Ninja,

My Extension Update is still showing I need to update the module. Also, I am still missing images in my slider module, I have a total of 4 images in my slideshow image folder, and it’s currently only showing 3 images. My slideshow module manager is recognizing the images in the folder too.

I contacted template support about this, and they said it’s a bug that needs fixing, I still having heard back from them with the fix. Any further assistance is appreciated, thanks.

I have just deleted resize folder on JA SlideShow module and refresh front-end on your site again. 4 images in your slideshow module are showing now

resized/images/stories/slideshow

Please check it on your site again, let me know if it helps
