May 5, 2009 at 4:12 am #303581I have been complaining of the same exact problem but so far no solution has been offered. In another thread in this forum, various remedies has been suggested but nothing works.
It is beginning to appear more and more as some people have speculated, that Topaz was quickly patched together to meet joomlart’s quota for at least one template a month, and we are now stuck with what is known in the automotive industry as a lemon.
I have filed a Trouble Ticket more than twenty four hours ago and there has not been any replies from there yet. I specified the urgency as being “Critical” and the reply came back with a level of “Low” so I am not sure what is going on there. I sent back an email to point this out, but it seems it ends up in the email blackhole where nothing by design ever leaves or emanates.
Needless to say this has been a frustrating experience, and I just have to live with it for the year of my paid membership. Maybe the joomlart gods will someday grace us with his presence and pronounce a cure, but for the time being, look for another template program.

May 5, 2009 at 1:30 pm #303636Thank you for reply,
I have a Joomla 1.5.10 installed and would like to have possibility to test different templates before choosing the correct on. The installation is done through Fantastico as it is a shared hosting. If I delete Joomla installation I wont be able to use Fantastico to update to future releases of Joomla and also the process of uploading and installing the deletin every template I would like to test is very time consuming.
I think that this is purpose of Template Manager in Joomla admin panel.
Please let me know why the regular installation of templates does not work anymore with your templates.
Or am I missing something?
