    Hi @timtecsa,

As you can see in the code, we changed from $titleField to get value from $item->title instead. The fact is we won’t dig into your Joomla! site to figure out why the variable $titleField was not parsed correctly (it’s related to your configuration or with your Joomla! code, the original one work fine) but use the variable $item->title.

If the problem is related to template code, we can guarantee that we will fix it completely. For other cases, we can only do our best to assist you, for example the function to generate feed is not controlled by the template but Joomla! itself, so it’s beyond our support scope.

@adam M I discovered that Feedly does pick up images from Joomla so long as the images are visible in the text, i.e. are images that are not in the Images and Links settings.

    Hi @timtecsa,

    1. First, you will need to check current (active) menu item type and make sure that it point to the category where there are published articles.

    2. If there’s nothing wrong in point 1, make sure your current setting is correct, try change the Template Style parameter in menu editing page to use default template Protostar then recheck.

    3. If the default template work but JA Teline V doesn’t, please let me know. Otherwise if the problem is related to Feedly or it just doesn’t work in Protostar, I’m afraid that we cannot assist you as it’s beyond our support scope.

    @Adam M

    http://feedly.com/i/subscription/feed/http://ja-teline_v.demo.joomlart.com/index.php/en/technology?format=feed&type=rss

Only images that are embedded in text are displayed on teline v demo site.

http://feedly.com/i/subscription/feed/http://templates.joomla.com/demo8/?format=feed&type=rss I wonder whether these images are buried in ‘Images and Links’ ?

BTW, Feedly is reputed to be the most used rss reader.

    Hi @timtecsa,

Could you please try to temporary change your default template to Protostar and check in Feedly as I suggested above and let me know the result ?

Protostar template gives the same result. Only articles with images in the text appear in Feedly. I have posed the question on Joomla forum. http://forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=706&t=895686 Silence, so far.

    Hi @timtecsa,

You might want to try 2 options below :

    1. Please check in another web feed management like FeedBurner to see if the result is same as Feedly. If you see everything work fine in FeedBurner, so the problem come from Feedly instead.

    2. In case you got the same result with FeedBurner, so try to look for 3rd party extensions in JED (Joomla! Extensions Directory) to generate feeds and try again.

I couldn’t find any freebie Syndicate modules. So I tried another site:

Another test, which works fine: http://j344.gpmnews.com/index.php/image-gallery/animals
    http://feedly.com/i/subscription/feed/http://j344.gpmnews.com/index.php/image-gallery/animals?format=feed&type=rss

This in j344 on Protostar template with demo content. The images are only in Images and Links, not in text. Why does this work but not the Joomlart Teline V template site?

And I just tried Feedly on this page of Joomlart site http://www.joomlart.com/

http://feedly.com/i/subscription/feed/http://www.joomlart.com/homepage/feed/rss Hey presto – lots of images. Uber template?

    Hi @timtecsa,

Just checked your site again but see that some article images appear, so you might want to check and compare your setting between those articles to see if there’s any incorrect settings.
