January 28, 2011 at 12:37 pm #374244It seems to appear fine for me. Please re-check
January 28, 2011 at 1:04 pm #374252the problem was evident until i decided to add more articles so the problematic article climbs down. Can you please explain why the video shows on the front page breaking the template when embeded in any article after the read more part.

The issue is a simple one: you simply do not have enough copy for your article.
The reason for the “Add comments, Read more and Hit links” are appearing in the Lays commercial on the front page is because of the lack of TEXT content connected to the article.
Your Frontpage module calls for a certain number of words (usually `100″ or “150”) to appear for each article. This is a parameter setting for that module.
Since your article only contains 12 words…
<blockquote>Crazy funny lays ad video of an old man and his wife </blockquote>
…it is pulling in the only other words it can find to fill the void.
Added one more sentence to that particular article and watch your problem go away. The module will not consider your videos as text, nor will it add a second picture to fill the void.Hope this help!
John.1 user says Thank You to John Wesley Brett for this useful post

You seem to be having several <p>..</p> tags before readon tag so please open the article with editor turned off and then remove these tags
February 1, 2011 at 7:44 am #374689Hi Aman these <p> and br tags are coming automatically after the inline ad code
<script type="text/javascript">
<!--
google_ad_client = "pub-3371920293199917";
/* 300x250, created 4/19/09 */
google_ad_slot = "2255384117";
google_ad_width = 300;
google_ad_height = 250;
//-->
</script>
</div><p>
<br mce_bogus="1">
</p>
<p>
<br mce_bogus="1">
</p>
<p>
<br mce_bogus="1">
</p>the ad code is not visible on front page but the <p> line space is showing up what to do does ja rave has similar issues should i try different template

February 1, 2011 at 8:03 am #374694Those tags are being added by the TinyMCE editor, not the template. I tend to go into the TinyMCE plugin parameter and set code cleanup to yes and newlint to /br instead of <p></p>
Then got into your atricle and remove all the P tacge so your code looks like this
<script type="text/javascript">
<!--
google_ad_client = "pub-3371920293199917";
/* 300x250, created 4/19/09 */
google_ad_slot = "2255384117";
google_ad_width = 300;
google_ad_height = 250;
//-->
</script>
</div>February 1, 2011 at 10:17 am #374710thanks phill i have made the changes by setting Code Cleanup on Startup to on and code clean on save to front only
this doesnt seem to work i am also getting an additional code which says<br mce_bogus="1">
why is the editor doing so do you think JCE editor will remove these problems

February 1, 2011 at 10:59 am #374716Can you PM me an admin logon?
TinyMCE is a fickle beast.
JCE might fix it but in essence it is just a re-hashed version of Tiny with lots of extra features. Some are good but others can cause problems if not configured well.
