August 1, 2013 at 4:15 pm #189415Hi there,
I suddenly got this drop-down wide menu and can’t figure out how to get away off. :((
Any idea? I attached an image stating why and where.
Menu item is setup as article->single article.
Thanks for it.
Regards,
Eduardo

August 1, 2013 at 4:33 pm #500941Hi Tom,
It’s locally under a MAMP server but you can have a look: http://189.38.253.121:8888/bowlhouse_new
Let me know if you get problems during your try. 😉
Thanks a lot.

August 1, 2013 at 4:43 pm #500942Try this . . . .
Within file path –> /bowlhouse_new/plugins/system/t3/base/css/megamenu.css
at line 70, change the “min-width” property to “max-width” – for example:
.t3-megamenu .mega > .mega-dropdown-menu {
display: none;
max-width: 250px;
}You can, of course, play around with the pixel value until you arrive at the look you like best.
Hope That Helps

August 1, 2013 at 4:48 pm #500945Tom,
Perfect. It worked. Will it be preserved when seen by a mobile device? I mean, responsive will be kept as well?
Thanks

Test it out and see how it responds. I would think the modification would be good across the board.HOWEVER …. If you ever wish to update your Joomla version or T3 Framework, you might want to consider utilizing to preserve certain custom modifications you make.

August 1, 2013 at 4:55 pm #500949I see.:)
That would be great. I use a custom.css file suggested by Ninja in theme/css path and think is kept during updates. 😉
Let’s keep walking..
Thanks for it Tom!
