I set the width setting to “wide” in the .css but firefox, for some reason seems to force it back to narrow.

    see http://www.gracecovenantfamily.org

Also, in IE7, the pages look fine, but the “contact us” page seems to have its own setting of “auto” as it goes super-wide on me.

And since I’m posting, i may as well go for it all! 🙂

The “School of Ministry” menu in the left module position works just fine, but if try to restrict its appearance to only the school of ministry pages, it wont show at all. Any suggestions?

Awesome template my friends! Easy to install and so far easy to configure.

    HI Mike

Works ok here in Firefox and IE 7 at 1024 x 768 width
First do something about the “avalanche image” resize it in a paint package to the size you want not let the browser do the work that pic alone is 196 kb! slows the site load down enormously.

The contact page is ok in FF and IE 7 it will look as wide as the three spotlight modules as they force the container area to stretch as far as needed to fit them in etc

I’d refrain from constantly going offsite to show the location and fill in a different contact form

take a screenshot of the map instead and recreate the contact form using facile forms etc
the idea is to keep ppl at your site no send em away ppl often start browsing the other site and never go back to the other instance of the browser

The alternative if you must use the contact form there use the wrapper feature in Joomla and pull the form into your site into a full width wrapper

    Cheers ShannonN

    Thanks ShannonN!

If I were paying the bills on this site, I would do the contact information the way you suggested, but those that write the checks specifically wanted it this way.

Good tip on the size of the image…..I didn’t realize the “resizing” would eat resources.

    Appreciate the quick response!
