    Yes, I know where it is that you change the width.

    What do you need to do to get the width to change when you move them.

    They are now upper right

    http://www.lsanashville.com

    and as you can see on the home page and typography page they do not fill themselves out, and on the typography page instead of the tabs and the main body filling out most of the page the menus are…..

    Anyone have an idea?

    Thanks,
    Alicia

    Hi Alicia

    Can you give us a step by step how you managed to get the tabs running right along the top of your site…the three Copy of Photos to Art is what I mean…would be great place for banners.

    Thanks in advance 😉

    I am still trying to figure out how it was done too…. 🙂
    Its a variation of corona put in here….is how I see it….

    It still needs some adjustment…..as I want to adopt the styles of left and right etc…but that portion is on the right track….

    You may want to ask Menalto…. 🙂

    You need adjust these image to make it wider:

    1. tabswrap-top.gif
    2. tabswrap-center.gif
    3. tabswrap-bot.gif

    Currently, all of these images are 409px width.

    You wanna make the width of mainbody/the tabs wider when you have only one column activated on left side?

    yes…so the main body will grow with the tabs… and not the menus…

    but it doesnt change any which way…but the above post has the answer maybe..I will try tonite.. it may be the graphics limiting it..

    looks like your additional modules are gonna be a hit… 🙂 I do appreciate you!

    later!

    I will take a closer look at it too, but if i remember correct some adjustments should be done to get the mainbody part to extend. If you give me a quick image on how you want it i can see what i can do here.
    If i got you correct you wanna have the look of the top modules as the left/right ones?
    Just drop me an email if there is so, the PM system seems to have a glitch.

    Ok, I only had a few moments to do this yesterday and I make the images bigger. It did fill out the tabs better…of course the right size combo would have to be figured out. It did not however help to make it wider and move toward the left. I have up where I left off. I will mock up some images today. I do feel you are right that to make it wider, which would have to have the main body extend, some other adjustment has to be made. Left and right would have to be “fixed’ and main would have to be fluid.

    As far as the upper positions…I have put those on hold for the moment to get the tabs worked out. The spacing has to be adjusted on those…but that will have to hold for another day….

    Thanks

    The width of tabs is fixed. You cannot make it wider with the main body. Wider above images only make the tab look better, because the original width is 409px, smaller than your current width.

    And there is no way to make it fixed but wider???

    Can’t the width and height be adjusted in the code where you set it in javars.php..

    Give me some good options here… 🙂

    You can make it wider but still fixed. The width of mootabs is defined in ja_vars.php file, at the very bottom position:

    /*********** JA MooTabs Options ****************/
    $ja_mootabs_options = "
    width: '414px',
    height: 'auto',
    duration: 1000,
    changeTransition: Fx.Transitions.Expo.easeOut,
    animType: 'animMove'
    ";
    /*********** End JA MooTabs ********************/

    I know that…I have been there…but if it does adjust, by the changes….it still does not move toward left. I can do fixed..that is not a problem as I will have a fixed narrow template…

    I just want position left to keep its size, with a wider main body– which it does normally when you delete position right…..

    When you go to just left and main…I want the moo tabs to be the width of the main body…. but it does not do it..and the main body doesnt move either…..

    So close and yet so far
