I’m sorry if this has already been answered, but I haven’t been able to find a fix in the forums.

I would like to have the slideshow width to be 800px. I have adjusted the slideshow width in the slideshow module configuration, but there are still borders going off to the right. Where can I adjust the length/width of these border lines?

Check your image sizes. They must be EQUAL to or GREATER than your slideshow stage.

Without a URL to your live site this is all guess work. Can you provide us one?

I’m sorry for my late reply, but thankful for your help, even though your first guess was wrong (I think) 🙂
My template width is set to 810px, the slideshow module is set to 800px and the width of the pictures is also 800px.

And change the item in RED below.
