This is very much a work in progress and a lot of the functionality is not yet added. Some cannot be added until I move the site live but I think it is a big improvement on the old site he had.

You’ll see the old site if you click on the gallery or try to buy something (which reminds me, I must add a cart module)

Hopefully he will like it. I still have to edit a lot of the articles too as he pasted most of them from Word:eek:

A classic example of this is if you compare the Mauritius 2009 page with the El Tur – Sinai Egypt page (both linked to the catslwi)

One odd thing, the _fp doesn’t like Mondays (we know a song about that)

looking great if I could suggest giving them pictures some kind of border just to blend thing in….just a thought, not to offend!!

Good idea. I’ll have a think about it. Although for the catslwi things it might be hard as it picks a shot from the article (though I cannot for the life of me work out how it chooses the shot, sometimes it is the first in an article, other times it is the last)

So for those pics, it needs to fit well in the article as well as the front page.

Also, I would make the title of the “Mauritius 2009” article in catslwi area into capitals to match the other three.

good job there.

1) maybe its just me but i don’t quite like the “sand” background. it does not seem to blend in well with the black and white theme of the site.

2) under Martius 2009, the “See you there….” is probably on a new line but does not work well in the catslide

3) the first thumbnail in the slideshow is ‘badly cropped’ by the auto cropping, you might wanna create your own thumbnails and replace the auto created ones
