Certainly colourful! but to me way too busy, I thought at first you were a architectual design company, probably influenced by the buildingsas header graphics 🙂

The page is too long I hate scrolling down the equivelent of 2.5 pages to see whats on offer and know most ppl hate this also. I’d say stop the page at around the bottom of the calendar? I think the testimonials page is the ideal length

On this page, I get a fatal error with the calendar (Fatal error: Cannot redeclare has_priv() (previously declared etc etc ) http://www.kdmconsultants.com/surveys/view/KDM_Customer_Survey/index/

    Cheers Shannon

I must say that the site suits your company very well. And yes, as ShannonN pointed out there’s an issue with your calendar module which is giving the following errors:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare has_priv() (previously declared in /home/kdmcons/public_html/components/com_surveys/functions.php:611) in /home/kdmcons/public_html/components/com_jcalpro/include/functions.inc.php on line 280

If you’d like to upload the file and PM me I’ll take a look for you.

We’re a Tampa Bay Design Firm. The images are of recognizible buildings in the Bay area. People are really into that thing down here. However it may change someday for I am a rather prolific designer who likes to change things up, I do belive web sites should evolve.
As for the length of the page you should read The Little Blue Book of Advertising: 52 Small Ideas That Can Make a Big Difference by Steve Lance, Jeff Woll and Ogilvy on Advertising by David Ogilvy. Then you’ll find out who is going to read all that long copy.

Sounds like I have offended you and put you on the defensive, sorry about that, as for reading all about the “so called experts” have a look at all the expert books on adsense campaigns , it all changes so often its not worth a lot.

Dont care what your experts say, I know what I like and what a heck of a lot of others like, we could get onto expert opinions about obsessive attempts at perfect compliance, obsessive “must work in every browser back as far as NS4”, must have a page weight of less than 100k, must not include flash, must this that and the other, all recommended by the “experts”, I might add 🙂

You as a professional understand all these things and realise the fuility in some of them, and the necessity of others, I have my opinion and you have your expert book writers 🙂

    Cheers Shannon

Sounds like you are the one on the defensive. I welcome constructive critisism but you did come off a little harsh, hate is a strong word I try never to use because it offends people.

BTW the late David Ogilvy is considered by many to be the one of the fathers of modern advertising and was the principle of Ogilvy and Mather one of the largest and most successful ad agencies in the world, ever.

Steve Lance was Creative Director at NBC and Jeff Woll was CEO of Ogilvy and Mather’s New York office.

These are real credentials and I take what they have to say very serious because they have tremendous experience as well as insight into what makes great advertising and their advice has helped grow my business more than anything else I have ever tried.

KDM is a full service marketing company (not a web design firm) our target market is people who are looking for an ad agency. When a company is about to spend thousands of dollars on a marketing campaign you can bet that they are going to read everthing on your web site before they ever call you. Impulse shoppers aside most clients that you build lasting relationships with usually really research you before they pull the trigger.

Also most of our work is print ads and print collateral materials. Joomla is a great way for us to have an informative web site for people who are interested in hiring an ad agency and Joomlart Templates are great vehicles for creating exciting and valid web sites quickly and easily.

Thanks for your feed back and believe it or not I think the page is a little long too.
