hi,
i installed the slideshow module of this template. give it the user5 position and all i can see is the titel.. why?my site: http://www.brutal.co.il
BTW it was needed changing the module name in all the module file from slideshow2 to 3 because the sulfur already has this kind of module, and it wouldn’t let me install unless i changed it.
thanks:)

August 17, 2010 at 9:46 am #352924To get JA Slideshow module work, you need override template of this module by copying files in ja_rasite/html/ and ja_rasite/css/mod_jaslideshow2.css file and put them respectively into the ja_raite/html/ and ja_raite/css/ of your JA Raite template
For default configuration of the module, please have a look at the JA Rasite template for reference.

You would like the slideshow 2 having a look similar in the ja sulfur’s slideshow, you do with above way: copy override module layout and css files from ja sulfur to use for your template. the most important is For default configuration of the module, please have a look at the JA Sulfur template for reference.
August 18, 2010 at 2:49 pm #353073i copied the file: mod_jaslideshow2.css from the RASITE temp (and changed the name to mod_jaslideshow3.css, like I’ve done with the module itself). copied it to the /public_html/templates/ja_sulfur/css.
and still. i can’t see nothing…but a title.
please check it on: http://www.brutal.co.il – user 5 position.thanks…-.-

August 20, 2010 at 4:09 am #353214Please follow these steps:
1. download template ja_rasite and extract to folder ja_rasite
2. copy css file ja_rasite/css/mod_jaslideshow2.css to ja_sulfur/css (overwrite the current one in sulfur template)
3. Go to module manager in your administrator, select module mod_jaslideshow2 and make the configuration the same as in ja-rasite (you should download ja_rasite quickstart package to lookup the configuration for this module)
Please see my snapshot

August 20, 2010 at 10:22 am #353256thank so much foe the help, but…
this is the problem, like i already said. i don’t want it to be instead of my slideshow. i want it to be under it. on the user 5 position.
so (like i said before) because i already won a slideshow2 module, i changed the name of the RASITE module to be slideshow3.. and then. i entered all the files of the module and changed every “slideshow2” word in the code, to be slideshow3.now, i did changed the settings like the print screen you showed me.. but its not working yet :
did i miss something?thank u!!

November 28, 2010 at 5:30 am #364547I’m trying to make Slideshow 2 look like it does in Portfolio on Raite. I started with the Quickstart of Portfolio, then my client wanted to use Raite. I copied over the html and css from the Portfolio template folders, but I still don’t see the left and right arrows showing for manual navigation. Please advise what I’m doing wrong. The website is http://www.affordablerentalsnj.com
Note: I can turn on auto play, but still no right and left arrows to navigate from slide to slide.
Thanks,
