Hi
I have a problem using the wrapper menutype.
On some, but not all, IE browsers the wrapper cuts off most of the external webpage that it should be wrapping.I have attached a screendump.
Can anybody help me solve this problem.
Thanx
Handberg

Thanks,

August 11, 2009 at 1:15 pm #313830I just looked at it again and see that in FF I am getting a 404. In IE7 it works fine and nothing gets cut off. In IE8 there is that cut off problem. This is a incompatiblilty in the template as far as I can detect, that JA should solve.
Have you tried other site like google to see if that works fine? THIS IS IMPORTANT!
Let me know,
TomAugust 12, 2009 at 8:56 am #313935Well – my problem is, that I cannot recreate the problem.
It has been reported by on of the users of the site.
I have tested it with IE8 – and it works fine for me.What OS are You using when You get this error. I have only been abel to test it on Windows XP.
Thanx

August 13, 2009 at 3:43 pm #314119I am using Windows Vista. But I can test independently from OS or anything else. Its interesting that you don’t have that problem in IE8, while I don’t. That’s not so great. This current site uses frames and tables. If you would load the Goole search page instead, that would help me see what might be wrong. Even you cannot see the problem yourself.

August 13, 2009 at 9:19 pm #314155Hi
Fixed. Please check the Google link on the top menu….
the problem was, in the Wrapper Url >> you had written >> http:\http://www.google.com instead of http://www.google.com >> // is the correct way to use the forward slashes.
Hope you got the point and can change the other problematic wrapper url.
regards
Arvind
August 13, 2009 at 9:30 pm #314158Hi Arvind
That is great. Very fast reaction from You. I am impressed.
As You may have seen in the earlier posts I cannot check it myself, but I wil ask the user to do it first thing in the morning (Dansih time). If it is fine I will close this thread, and make some sort of happy dance sending positive thoughts to You.Maybe Tom can test it. If You will, Tom, it will be a great help to me.
Thanks for all Your help

Would You still be willing to test this.
The user claims that she still has the same problem – so I am still a bit stuck.Regards
HandbergAugust 17, 2009 at 1:25 pm #314510Hi Arwin
