Hi,

The framework allows for certain profiles to be used in specific circumstances. The “Profile Override Settings” uses either the component-name or the Itemid for this, but is it possible to program your own condition? It would allow for cool things, like loading a specific profile on a certain date, or a specific profile for a specific condition within a specific component, etcetera.

I’ve been looking at the hooks (hooks.php), but there doesn’t seem to be a hook for choosing the right profile. So what I’m looking for is some way to insert my own PHP-script or PHP-line to determine which profile to load – it would be comparable with the Gantry concept of features.

Any ideas?
